Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, everyone’s top concern has, of course, been safety. Before coming to the hospital, please check our Visitor Guidelines below, which outline visiting hours and how many visitors each patient can have in various areas of the hospital.
Parking
Visitors and patients can park in the new parking garage which has an elevator. If you require additional assistance we offer valet parking which is located at the main entrance.
Complimentary parking is provided to all patients, guardians of pediatric patients, maternity support persons, and aides for patients with cognitive or mental impairment. Parking vouchers must be validated by Registration or Security upon entry or exit.
Hourly parking rates apply. Visitors will be responsible for paying the parking fee based on the amount of time in the garage. Pay stations are located in the Hospital's main lobby, as well as in the northwest stairwell of the parking garage. There is also an option to pay via credit or debit card at the gate.
Visitor Parking Garage Fees:
Less than 2 hours - $5.00
Two to four hours - $7.00
Four to 24 hours - $10.00
If you are picking up or dropping off a patient, the Hospital offers complimentary parking in the garage for 20 minutes. Please do not park or wait by the front entrance. overstaying past 20 minutes will result in applicable parking charges.

From Westchester County take the Major Deegan Parkway North to the New York State Thruway North and cross the Hudson River on the Governor Mario Cuomo Bridge. Take exit 11, Nyack. Continue straight at the stop sign and proceed one block further to the traffic light. Turn left at the light onto Route 9W North. The hospital entrance is on the right, approximately one block ahead.
From Manhattan take the George Washington Bridge to the Palisades Interstate Parkway North. Take exit 9E to the New York State Thruway (I-287/I-87) South. Exit the Thruway at exit 11, Nyack. At the traffic light, turn left onto Route 59 East. Proceed under the overpass to the first traffic light (corner of Route 9W). Turn left onto Route 9W North. Proceed through the traffic light. The hospital entrance is on the right, approximately one block ahead.
From New Jersey follow the Garden State Parkway North to the New York State Thruway South. Exit the Thruway at exit 11, Nyack. At the traffic light, turn left onto Route 59 East. Proceed under the overpass to the first traffic light (corner of Route 9W). Turn left onto Route 9W North. Proceed through the traffic light. The hospital entrance is on the right, approximately one block ahead.
From Upstate New York follow the New York State Thruway (I-287/I-87) South. Take exit 11, Nyack. At the traffic light, turn left onto Route 59 East. Visitor Information
Effective September 6, 2023
Use of masks is at the individual’s discretion, except for being required by staff, patients, and visitors in the following areas of the hospital:
All critical care units; medical (MICU), surgical (SICU), and neonatal (NICU)
Emergency Department
Perioperative Departments
Visitation with immunocompromised patients
Outpatient Medical Oncology Units
Chemotherapy Infusion Suites
Radiation Therapy Suites
At patient or family request
Number of Visitors & Hours
These guidelines are effective as of September 6, 2023. Visitors must be age 12 and up with the exception of siblings visiting the Mother Baby Unit. Overnight visitors must be age 18 and up.
COVID-19 Positive: Visitation is not permitted.
Ambulatory Surgery and Outpatient Areas: Patients scheduled for outpatient or ambulatory procedures may have two visitors accompany them through the admission process.
Behavioral Health: Scheduled visitation hours are 1 to 2 p.m. and 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Emergency Department: Except for confirmed or suspected COVID-19 patients, one support person is allowed one at a time, 24/7.
Inpatient: Two visitors at a time from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. for non-COVID-19 or COVID-19 recovered patients. One visitor is permitted during overnight hours.
Labor and Delivery: Two visitors and a doula may accompany the patient throughout labor, delivery and the immediate postpartum period.
Mother Baby Unit: One support person is permitted 24/7 with two additional visitors permitted during visiting hours.
Pediatric Unit: Two support persons may be at the bedside of the child through their hospitalization.
End-of-life situations: Patients may have two support persons or legal representatives at their bedside.

Visitors are welcome to visit our gift shop, cafeteria, chapel and bikur cholim room.

Please note, visitors are not permitted to eat or drink in patient care areas.

Visitors who don't adhere to the above guidelines will be asked to leave.

Fresh Inspirations Café offers a wide selection of prepared food items and healthy packaged options for visitors to enjoy while at the Hospital. Offerings include hot foods, a salad bar, deli, grill, soup station, pizza, desserts and a wide variety of grab-and-go snacks and hot and cold beverages.
