Nyack, NY, August 27, 2024 – Montefiore Nyack Hospital Home Care has been recognized for the second consecutive year by Strategic Healthcare Programs (SHP) as a “Superior Performer” for achieving an overall patient satisfaction score that ranked in the top 20 percent of all eligible nationwide SHP Home Health Care CAHPS Survey clients for the 2023 calendar year.
The Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS®) Home Health Care Survey, hereafter referred to as the “Home Health Care CAHPS Survey” or “HHCAHPS,” is designed to measure the experiences of people receiving home health care from Medicare-certified home health agencies. The HHCAHPS is conducted for home health agencies by approved HHCAHPS Survey vendors.
The 2023 SHPBest™ award program recognizes home health and hospice providers that consistently perform well in patient and caregiver satisfaction. Award recipients are determined by reviewing and ranking the overall satisfaction score for all eligible HHCAHPS clients in the SHP database, including more than 3,200 home health providers and 1,750 hospice providers nationwide. With the largest HHCAHPS benchmark in the nation, SHP is uniquely positioned to identify and recognize organizations that prioritize patient satisfaction and have been rewarded for their efforts with high marks on the HHCAHPS survey.
