Click here for Russian translation.Olga Tusheva, MD is a skilled Obstetrician and Gynecologist with Highland Medical, P.C., OBS/GYN of Rockland. She received her medical doctorate from the University of Central Florida where she was recognized with the prestigious honor of “Outstanding Senior in Surgery”. She completed an internship in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York and residency at North Shore – LIJ Health System in Manhasset/New Hyde Park, NY. Dr. Tusheva also completed a research internship at The Alvin J. Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Washington University School of Medicine. Her research experience includes an assistant position held at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Department of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery in Boston.While pursuing her research interests in developmental biology, reproductive medicine, and minimally invasive gynecology, Dr Tusheva authored several articles in major academic journals, chapters in re-known print, digital publications and presentations at national and international conferences. She is fluent in Russian and Ukrainian. A former professional gymnast, Dr. Tusheva’s interests include running, surfing, snowboarding, healthy nutrition, opera, flying a plane, and the stock market. As a new mother herself, Dr. Tusheva takes great pride in caring for expectant mothers and helping to keep them and their babies healthy.
