Rocio Villeda Gonzalez, MD is an obstetrician and gynecologist with Highland Medical, OBS-GYN of Rockland.. She earned her medical degree from San Carlos University with highest honors. She went on to finish a four-year Obstetrics/Gynecology residency in second place overall at the Roosevelt Hospital in Guatemala City. She later earned a post doctorate master's degree with Magna Cum Laude honors in Gynecologic Pathology and Colposcopy at Universidad Mariano Galvez de Guatemala. She held her own private medical practice for about 7 years. During that time, she was able to provide high quality medical care to her community.

Once Dr. Villeda Conzales relocated to the United States, she completed a second residency in Obstetrics/Gynecology at the BronxCare Health System associated with the Ichan School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She also acted as the Executive Chief Resident during her final year. Dr. Villeda Gonzalez is an active member of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Dr. Villeda Gonzalez has extensive experience from both her overseas medical practice and training in the United States. She is fluent in English and a native Spanish speaker. She lives with her husband and loves to spend time with her family, friends and two dogs. She also enjoys cooking, traveling and trying out different restaurants.
