Emerson, MD, FACOG, a board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist, as The Director of Obstetrics and Gynecology Montefiore Nyack Hospital. Dr. Emerson is also a practicing obstetrician and gynecologist at Highland Medical, P.C., OBS-GYN of Rockland in New City and Stony Point. In this role, Dr. Emerson will provide oversight to the Labor and Delivery and Mother-Baby Units at the Hospital.
Dr. Emerson brings a wealth of experience in women’s health to the Montefiore Nyack community. Most recently, she was the Director of the Women’s Health Clinic and Health and Wellness Gynecology at Bronx Care Health System. She was also an Obstetrics and Gynecology and Women’s Health instructor at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, NY, and an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York, NY.
Dr. Emerson earned her Medical Doctorate with distinction in research in women’s health from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY, and completed her Residency at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center in Bronx, NY. She is currently working on her Masters in healthcare Delivery Leadership at Icahn School of Medicine at Mt. Sinai, to be conferred in 2021.
