From the time your baby is born until he or she leaves for college, the Montefiore Nyack Hospital team of pediatric providers—including pediatric hospitalists and emergency physicians—is here to provide excellent medical care with compassion and understanding.

For hospitalized children, we’ve created a Pediatric Department with nine private inpatient rooms to help children and families feel safe and comfortable during their time with us. A parent or guardian can remain with their child 24/7. There are toys, books, video games and movies in a dedicated play area to keep children entertained. Visits from specially trained pet therapy animals can be scheduled to brighten hospital stays and reduce anxiety.

Emergency care for kids

The pediatric area within the FJ Borelli Family Emergency Center at Montefiore Nyack Hospital features eight private treatment rooms in an inviting, child-focused space. Our pediatric team includes board-certified pediatric emergency medicine physicians and nurses experienced in pediatric emergency care. Staff pediatricians and pediatric specialists are always on call in the hospital.
