The importance of screening and personalized breast cancer treatment options

Sunny D. Mitchell, Medical Director of The Breast Center at Montefiore Nyack Hospital and board-certified breast surgeon, will discuss the importance of screening and personalized breast cancer treatment options.

Nyack, N.Y. – The Breast Center at Montefiore Nyack Hospital, in partnership with the American Cancer Society and Bon Secors Medical Group, will host an in-person and online informational seminar about breast cancer on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Fielding Room of Finkelstein Memorial Library (24 Chestnut Street) in Spring Valley, N.Y.

The seminar will be led by board-certified breast surgeons: Sunny D. Mitchell, M.D., F.A.C.S., medical director of The Breast Center at Montefiore Nyack Hospital, and Dr. Karen Karsif, medical director of The Center for Breast Health at Good Samaritan Hospital, who will discuss the latest research on breast cancer including genetic history, preventative measures and available treatments.
