Nyack, N.Y. April 10, 2024 – The Breast Center at Montefiore Nyack Hospital will offer free breast exams and screening mammography for individuals age 40 and over in Rockland County who are uninsured and meet eligibility requirements on Friday, May 10, 2024, from 8:00 a.m.
to 3:30 p.m.
The screenings are funded by the Cancer Services Program of the Hudson Valley and Montefiore Nyack Hospital. Registration is strongly recommended to guarantee an appointment. Spanish-speaking assistance is available. To register, please call 845-348-8503.
The Breast Center at Montefiore Nyack Hospital offers 3D digital mammography which can detect up to 41% more invasive breast cancers. The Breast Center at Montefiore Nyack Hospital has once again been granted a three-year/full accreditation designation by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), a program administered by the American College of Surgeons. In addition, the Center is designated as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology (ACR).
