Dr. Korenfeld received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Long Island University in 2001. She entered New York Medical College that same year and graduated in 2005. Dr. Korenfeld competed her residency at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx in 2008.

She then moved to Chicago to pursue a Fellowship in Gastroenterology and Liver Disease at University of Illinois, which she finished in 2011. Dr. Korenfeld is Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
