Kenneth B. Svensson, MD
Dr. Svensson is a family practitioner, who has been serving the needs of all ages in Rockland County for the past 25 years. Dr. Svensson established a private practice in 1988, located on the beautiful waterfront town of Nyack, New York. Dr. Svensson is licensed to practice medicine in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He is also fluent in Spanish. Dr. Svensson earned his medical doctorate from the Universidad Central Del Este in the Dominican Republic. He completed his Family Practice Residency at UMDNJ /St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Paterson, NJ. He completed his Surgical Residency at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. Dr. Svensson is a preceptor at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine. He also works with Pace University and Dominican College of Blauvelt, in training nurse practitioners.Dr. Svensson is a philanthropist. He is involved with the Association for the Visually Impaired and the Mental Health Association of Rockland County. In his down time, Dr. Svensson enjoys cycling and rowing. Dr. Svensson is very passionate about teaching proper nutrition and preventative medicine to his clients. He is a true role model for them. He lives in Rockland, with his wife. He has seven children and eleven grandchildren.
