Blood Donors Needed to Ease Blood Shortage during Trauma Season

Blood donations are urgently needed due to a nationwide blood shortage.

As the weather gets warmer, the need for blood donors increases.

Nyack, N.Y. January 11, 2024 – Montefiore Nyack Hospital, is hosting a blood drive with the New York Blood Center (NYBC) on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, amid a critical post-holiday blood shortage. The NYBC’s Bloodmobile will be stationed in the Physician’s Lot, located off Rte. 9W between Fifth and Midland Avenues in Nyack, NY, from noon to 6:00 p.m.  Appointments are highly encouraged.
