Verification recognizes Montefiore Nyack’s commitment to providing optimal care for injured patients

Nyack, N.Y., May 15, 2025 – May is National Trauma Awareness Month (NTAM), a month-long observation dedicated to education, prevention, and advocacy for those affected by traumatic injuries. The American Trauma Society (ATS) and The Society of Trauma Nurses (STN) have joined forces in developing the annual National Trauma Awareness Month (NTAM) campaign. This year’s theme, “Model Safety Every Day: For A Stronger Tomorrow,” emphasizes how everyday choices and actions can protect lives and strengthen communities.
