Performs and coordinates clerical function within the MRI department.

The Support Services Supervisor works closely with Management to support the daily operations of the Environmental Services, Food & Nutrition Services, Linen Services, and Patient Transportation departments to ensure optimal operation of support services, including the cleaning & disinfection of the environment of care, food and nutrition patient services, culinary and retail operations, patient transport, linen distribution, waste management and pest control.

Transports patients to and from specific locations in the hospital; Also responsible for transporting laboratory specimens between patient units and the Lab that cannot be tubed.  Patient Transporters are also responsible for the cleaning of all stretchers, wheelchairs, and transport equipment, as well as maintaining adequate supply of portable oxygen tank supply in all designated areas of the hospital.

Embeds tissue, cuts, stains and coverslips slides of a quality acceptable to the pathologists. Performs special stains. Performs immunohistochemical techniques. Accessions specimens, troubleshoots and maintains histology equipment.

Full-Time Day 6:00am - 2:30am

Full-Time Day 7:30am - 4:00pm

To perform clerical and secretarial duties within the perioperative services department, including gathering procedure clearances for medical records, scanning records, and supporting PAT (pre-admission testing) department with documents related to the procedures. Collaborates with department personnel to facilitate a teamwork environment.
