Upcoming EventsIf your child is seriously ill or injured, the new Pediatric Emergency Department at Montefiore Nyack Hospital offers a special place for kids to receive the medical care they need, close to home. Our team includes board-certified pediatric emergency medicine physicians and nurses experienced in pediatric emergency care. Staff pediatricians and pediatric specialty physicians are always on call.
Part of the FJ Borelli Family Emergency Center, the Pediatric Emergency Department is open daily from noon to midnight and features eight private treatment rooms. Designed to be a comforting space for families, the department is decorated with colorful artwork from local children. Stations for doctors and nurses are centrally located, making communication with families easier.

Some children can be treated and discharged quickly through our Express Care service. If a child needs to be hospitalized, that can be easily arranged with our hospitalists—pediatricians who specialize in the care of children who’ve been admitted to the hospital. When needed, Pediatric Emergency Department staff members collaborate with colleagues at The Children’s Hospital at Montefiore in the Bronx, NY.
