Anita Bhola, MD, FCCP, FAASM is a board-certified physician practicing Sleep Medicine at Pulmonary Medicine Associates in Nyack, NY. Dr. Bhola holds board-certifications in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Sleep Medicine and Critical Care. She is currently the Medical Director of The Edythe Kurz Center for Sleep Medicine at Montefiore Nyack Hospital and the Medical Director of The Center for Sleep Medicine at Montefiore St. Lukes Cornwall Hospital.

Dr. Bhola received her Medical Doctorate from Maulana Azad Medical College, University of New Delhi in New Delhi, India and completed her Junior Residency in Internal Medicine at Irwin and D. B. Plant Hospitals in New Delhi, India. Dr. Bhola completed her Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at NYU Downtown Hospital in New York, NY. She went on to complete a Clinical Fellowship in Pulmonary Medicine at New York University Medical Center, Bellevue Hospital/VA Medical Center, a Clinical Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Montefiore Medical Center and a Clinical Fellowship in Sleep Medicine at Clinilabs Sleep Disorders Institute, all located in New York, NY.

Dr. Bhola’s professional affiliations include the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, American College of Chest Physicians and the Society of Critical Care Medicine. She serves as a presenter at societal meetings and seminars and was nominated as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor from 2015—2021.

Brijender Pal Batra, MD

Brijender Batra, MD is a board-certified and fellowship-trained pulmonologist. His board certifications include Internal, pulmonary, and sleep medicine. Dr. Batra has been providing care to patients in a private practice setting for over 30 years. As of November 2022, he has joined Highland Medical, Pulmonary Medicine Associates.

Dr. Batra earned his medical doctorate from HP Medical College (now Indira Gandhi Medical College) in India. After completing part of his residency in India, he traveled to the United States where he was a surgery resident at Flushing Hospital and medical Center in Flushing, NY. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Brooklyn Hospital Center in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Batra was fellowship-trained in pulmonary medicine at Brooklyn Hospital Center affiliated with the State of New York, Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. He is fluent in Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi and enjoys reading and traveling.
