In 2021, Montefiore Nyack Hospital completed a $24-million transformation of its emergency facilities, opening the FJ Borelli Family Emergency Center. A designated Area Trauma Center, we’re prepared for any medical crisis, from broken bones to breathing difficulties, stroke, heart attack and traumatic injuries. We’re here 24/7 to respond quickly to health emergencies for both adults and children.
You’ll find specialized cardiac emergency care in the Chest Pain Center, the first of its kind in Rockland County. Express Care offers optimal services for non-life-threatening adult emergencies and our Pediatric Emergency Department provides round-the-clock care for kids by board-certified pediatric emergency medicine physicians. As a New York State Certified Stroke Center, we deliver immediate evaluation of stroke symptoms and timely treatment. Our Level III verified Trauma Center means area residents have local access to advanced, life-saving trauma expertise.
If you’re unsure whether to call 911 or get to the hospital on your own during a medical emergency, it’s best to call for an ambulance.
