The Medical Receptionist receives patients at the front desk, greeting and checking them in. Responsible for registration, scheduling appointments, insurance verification, collection of co-pays/deductibles, pre-certification or authorization of accounts. Responsible for setting up patient charts for new patients. Scan and copy pertinent information into electronic patients' charts (EMR system) Training would be provided. Performs various secretarial and clerical functions in support of the medical office.

Montefiore Nyack's Hematology Oncology department has an opening for a Part Time Medical Coordinator to Assist Physicians and Nurses with drawing blood for patients in the medical office located in the hospital. Under the direct supervision of management is responsible for performing individually assigned patient care activities based upon established patient care policies and procedures and routine tasks essential for upkeep of the Hematology Oncology Center.
