Negative Effects of World Events on Mental Health

Vicarious trauma is the emotional residue of exposure to trauma that others experience. In partnership with the Finkelstein Memorial Library, Yandira Melon, LCSW, of the Employee Assistance Program at Montefiore Nyack Hospital, will lead a presentation on how news from around the world can affect our own mental health and how to manage its negative effects.
