CERTIFIED RECOVERY PEER ADVOCATE (CRPA) - PER DIEM

A.  Job Summary:  The Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA) will work closely with Montefiore Nyack Emergency Department patients who have a substance abuse diagnosis.  They will serve as a liaison to treatment and other recovery services.  CRPA will engage with patients who are considering treatment, need to follow up with treatment referral, bring awareness of services to patient in ED.  CRPA will also conduct follow up phone calls and track referrals.  CRPA may also engage with Recovery Center patients to facilitate groups to help link patients to available community resources.
