PART-TIME POSITIONS AVAILABLE FOR:

HOST - Responsible for the delivery and collection of trays, menus and nourishment’s to and from patients/residents. Acts as liaison between patient, Food and Nutrition Department and Nursing services during meal times for the communication of all patient/resident food needs. Takes meal orders, offers choice preferences where appropriate, and is familiar with meal selection in regard to patient diet.

DIETARY AIDE - Responsible for assembly of patient meals on kitchen tray line, ensuring accuracy of menu selection as well as adherence to diet requirements. Position also involves cold food preparation of stocking of tray line supplies and all kitchen sanitation duties (including, but not limited to, dish machine and pot sink duties).  

COOK - Responsible for the preparation of all meals for all patients, employees, retail and special functions. Prepares food as indicated by par level reports according to recipe and established procedures in accordance with Health Department standards; Adheres to all health code and sanitary requirements in food production. Maintains patient/customer satisfaction as a focal point for all food production.

 

$1,000 SIGN ON BONUS FOR EACH

QUALIFICATIONS
HOST - High School Diploma or GED required. One year of food service experience preferred. Ability to speak, read and write English. Good communication and customer service skills. Must be able to use basic math skills with money handling.

DIETARY AIDE - High school diploma or GED preferred. One year food service experience preferred. Ability to speak, read and write English. Good communication and customer service skills. Must be able to use basic math skills with money handling.

COOK - High School Diploma or GED required. Prior food service experience necessary. One year experience in quantity food production preferred. Ability to work independently and complete assignments in a timely manner. Must be able to follow standardized written recipes. Must have knowledge/training of usage of food production equipment. Serve safe certification or equivalent preferred. Must be able to read, write and speak English. Ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities along with a positive, customer-focused attitude with a strong sense of hospitality and customer service is essential for this position.
