The Respiratory Department offers education and resources about breathing conditions for patients and their families, as well as assistance for those who want to quit smoking.

Better Breathers Support Group

This group meets monthly to provide support and education to individuals diagnosed with pulmonary disorders or who have breathing difficulties. For more information, call 845-348-2491.

Smoking Cessation

Montefiore Nyack Hospital is committed to reducing tobacco use and the incidence of tobacco-related diseases in the communities we serve. We provide education and resources to help patients quit smoking, including nicotine replacement therapy.
