Upcoming EventsNyack, N.Y. April 13, 2023 – On Friday, May 12, 2023 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., The Breast Center at Montefiore Nyack Hospital will offer free breast exams and mammography for women ages 40 and over in Rockland County who are underinsured, uninsured or undocumented.
Sunny D. Mitchell, M.D., F.A.C.S., board-certified surgeon and medical director of The Breast Center at Montefiore Nyack Hospital, and other breast health specialists will be performing the breast exams. The screenings are funded by Cancer Services Program of the Hudson Valley and Montefiore Nyack Hospital. Food and beverages for participants will be generously provided by event co-sponsor New York State Senator Bill Weber.
Limited walk-ins are welcome if space permits; however, registration is strongly recommended to guarantee an appointment. Face masks are required. Spanish-speaking assistance is available. To register, please call Joanne Gonzalez, RN at 845-348-8503.
