DESCRIPTION
The Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) is responsible for providing quality care and nursing services to patients in the Rockland County territory under the direction of a Registered Nurse in the Home Care division.
QUALIFICATIONS
B. Essential Job Qualifications:
1. Education: Graduate of an accredited LPN program with current NYS licensure
2. Experience:
a) 2+ years of med/surg/acute care or skilled nursing facility experience
b) 1-2 years of homecare experience preferred
c) Strong clinical background with wound care experience
3. Training/Certification: BLS Certification.
4. Licensure: NYS LPN License
5. Other: Must be able to work in the field and have reliable transportation.
a) Valid driver’s license and current automobile registration and insurance.
b) Willingness and ability to travel as needed
c) Excellent verbal and written communication skills
d) Strong computer skills
