Please join our patient care team! Work under the direction of an RN and proficiently perform all aspects of the role. The Assistant is responsible for supporting the RN with clinical tasks including but not limited to obtaining vital signs, shaving and prepping the patient, assisting with admission and discharge from post-recovery and for responding to the needs of patients and family members. The Assistant takes an active role in the efficient operation of the center and works collaboratively with the other clinical team members in the department.
2. Experience: A minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a clinical Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant preferred.
3. Training/Certification: BLS Certification (AHA) required.
4. Licensure: N/A
5. Other: Must be detail oriented. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Must be able to commit to a full time schedule, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week.
