Nyack, N.Y. April 4, 2024 – Montefiore Nyack Hospital is recruiting adult volunteers (age 18+) for its Volunteer Ambassador Program. Main responsibilities will include assistance in the hospital lobby and/or Emergency Department and providing directions and escort assistance for patients and family members.
Volunteers are needed 7 days a week and may work 1 to 3 days a week for 4-hour shifts between the hours of 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Duties will include wayfinding, greeter, assist patients and family members to their destination or aid patients and/or visitors in a wheelchair. Volunteering is a rewarding way to meet people, gain new skills, and offer an opportunity to be an active member of the community. Other benefits include:
